Even so, a good PPI claims company can handle these matters just as effectively and maybe more so.

Claiming Back Bank Charges

Before you can submit a payment protection claim it is important to think about how your policy was sold to you. Bank charges companies will all ask a series of questions to determine exactly how the bank sold the cover to you and whether they followed all the necessary proceedures. If not, then there is every possibility that you have a valid claim that may entitle you to a refund of money spent in mis sold PPI. Once you contract with bank charges companies, they work diligently to reclaim your money for you. Professional PPI claims companies also work on a no win no fee basis which means that you only pay if they are successful in your claim. Unlike solicitors who take a hefty down payment to represent you, bank charges companies provide free consultations and take their fee at the end of a successful claim.

Choosing the Right Claims Company

Choosing the right claims company to represent you is a matter of knowing what credentials to look for such as seeing to it that they are registered with the Ministry of Justice and perhaps the Information Commissioner's Office. As mentioned above, you will want a company that does not require a down payment and you especially do not want to pay for an initial consultation. This should be provided almost as a community service because you need to be informed of what payment protection insurance and the mis-selling of payment protection insurance is all about before making a claim.

Belmont Thornton, The PPI Claim Company, has all of the above credentials and also works on a no win no fee* contingency.
