Credit Card PPI Claim Back

According to recent legislation, the FSA (Financial Services Authority) has mandated that lenders review files of all consumers who have purchased payment protection insurance within the past six years to check for mis sold PPI. Certain criteria needs to be weighed against the way payment protection was sold and if it can be established that it was mis represented in any way or if the borrower didn't have the opportunity to understand it or approve it, the lender is to honour PPI claims. This is the case with all loans, including revolving lines of credit. In other words, those who were mis sold cover are entitled to a credit card PPI claim back.

Allegations That Lenders are Not Complying

Amidst allegations that lenders are either not complying with this ruling or are unnecessarily delaying the review of their customers' policies, increasing numbers of UK consumers are turning to claims management companies to file a credit card PPI claim for a refund. Belmont Thornton, Belmont Thornton, has a knowledgeable PPI claims team that is ready to help you file a claim for a credit card PPI claim back if you feel that you have been mis sold and the card issuer is dragging their feet on reviewing your policy.

What Does Belmont Thornton Need to File a Claim?

After you have contacted Belmont Thornton you will receive a claims packet by post. All the required information needs to be completed on those forms and returned as quickly as possible. Once everything is in order and you have signed in all the appropriate places, the claims team will submit your claim to the lender who has a certain amount of time to review your credit card PPI claim back. Within that time frame the lender will contact your claims team either with a decision or a request for more information/time. If this notification isn't forthcoming, your claims team will most often bring your credit card PPI claim before the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) as a complaint/appeal.

How Much Does It Cost to File a Claim?

You have already paid into PPI that you didn't want, didn't need and maybe did't even know you were buying so you surely have a right to balk at spending any more. Belmont Thornton understands this which is why we have a no win no fee* policy. A credit card PPI claim is of utmost importance and we do everything in our power to see that you get what is coming to you. While there are solicitors and other PPI claims companies that charge a fee before they will agree to file for a PPI reclaim on what you paid in, you should not be charged a fee for your initial consultation nor should you be asked for any out of pocket money at all. If you believe that you are among tens of thousands of UK consumers who are due credit card payment protection refunds, call the claims team today on 0207 471 2000. Get on the fast track and your claims packet could be on its way to you as early as tomorrow.
