Goldfish Loan Protection

If you think you may be eligible to make payment protection insurance claims, but are unsure where to start we can help. We have already assisted thousands of customers to reclaim mis sold PPI and we work on a no win no fee* basis.

If you have taken out Goldfish loan protection cover, but are not sure whether your policy was mis-sold, it is often helpful to begin by thinking about the circumstances under which you bought the cover. Were you given full information regarding the policy and were you given adequate time to make up your mind or did you feel the information you were given was incomplete or incorrect or that you were rushed or pressured into taking out the policy?

‘Mis-selling’ is quite a broad term and can encompass a number of different sales failings. In its most basic sense, mis-selling simply means your lender failed in some aspect of the sales process. Examples of mis-selling can be quite diverse, two examples are listed below.

  • The policy was added without the customer’s approval or consent. Amazing, because of human error or the promise of large commission, this has been known to occur. If it happened to you, your policy was mis-sold and you can make a claim.
  • The customer was sold the policy even though their circumstances made them unsuitable. If you were unemployed, self-employed, in full time education or retired you should not have been offered PPI as it covers for loss of employment. If this happened to you, you have the right to make a complaint.
