Bank Reclaim: Lloyds announce 5,000 job cuts

Lloyds Banking Group has announced that it is set to cut 5,000 jobs in the UK.

Although some of the axed roles are of a temporary nature, 2,600 permanent posts are set to be lost and it is thought that the company's IT and insurance operations will be most affected.

A year ago, Lloyds TSB merged with Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS) to form the Lloyds Banking Group and the job losses will cut down on duplication between the two sides of the business.

Customers of Lloyds TSB or HBOS who feel they have been charged unfairly in the past may be able to recoup unfair bank charges, and should seek help in order to launch a bank reclaim or credit card claim.

Last week, it was reported that Lloyds would have to sell off significant parts of its UK business in a shake-up of the retail banking sector designed to boost competition.

If you would like to make a credit card charges claim to get back all your late payment / over limit fees in the last 6 years from Lloyds TSB then fill out the Quick Claim or call Belmont Thornton on 0845 526 0000.ADNFCR-2776-ID-19454266-ADNFCR
