Payment Protection UK
Payment Protection UK Problem Larger Than Expected
Payment protection UK insurance that was mis sold in the past decade appears to be a larger problem than it was first thought. In fact, banks are now significantly adding to their workforce simply to cover the overwhelming number of claims that are pouring in. Bank issued credit cards in the UK are also being claimed against for mis sold cover, including payment protection Visa cards that were issued by some of the leading High Street banks. Since it now seems as though the number of people who have been mis sold PPI is at least double what was originally thought there will be an incredible amount of payment protection Visa claims among other bank PPI claims coming in over the next weeks and months.
How to Handle Mis Sold Payment Protection Insurance
Payment protection claims, especially payment protection Visa claims, need to be submitted directly to the lender that sold the cover. This is where so many consumers make their first mistake. Since the credit card has the Visa logo on it they assume they should file their claim with Visa. However, Visa did not play a role in mis selling PPI it was the bank that issued the card.
