PPIcomplaints

Although the news is getting better every day, there are still way too many PPIcomplaints being leveled against lenders for mis sold PPI as well as delayed PPI refunds. The problem is, many people just don't know who to complain to anymore as there is so much going on and so much controversy surrounding the whole PPI scandal. Lodging PPIcomplaints with the right people who can actually do something about it is half the battle. Getting lenders to listen is the other half!

PPIcomplaints and Mis sold Payment Protection Insurance

Many people are confused about where to direct their claim for mis-sold payment protection insurance. As your PPI complaint relates to the way your policy was sold you need to address it to the sender, broker or store that sold you the policy. They were responsible for setting up your policy and they will be responsible for paying any PPI refund that is due.

Knowing Where to Turn

Depending on what type of PPIcomplaints you are trying to make you will need to find the contact information for the appropriate agency or organization. Most people start with the Citizens Advice Bureau because they are the largest consumers advocate group in the UK and the organization responsible for bringing this matter to the attention of the government in the first-place. Whilst this is a good place to start when you're talking about misselling PPI they are not the group to bring a complaint before when it comes to a lender refusing or delaying a PPI refund claim. In that case you would most likely need to file PPIcomplaints with the Financial Services Authority, the FSA. That is the government body that has been given jurisdiction over payment protection insurance and PPI claims/refunds. The only reason the Citizens Advice Bureau would be notified is because they can guide you in a direction you need to pursue.

PIf you have been mis-sold payment protection insurance and you are interested in filing a claim for a PPI refund along with filing PPIcomplaints, you may be interested in the services of a PPI claims management company.
