Bank Charges No Win No Fee

Mi-sold PPI

If you have taken out a payment protection insurance policy with a loan, mortgage, hire purchase agreement, store or credit card then there is a possibilty your cover may have been mis-sold. 'Mis-selling' is a term used to describe a number of different failings that may have occured at the point of sale. If, for example, you were told the policy was compulsory or taking it out would improve your chances of getting the loan or credit, you were given the wrong information. Similarly, if you were sold a policy you didn't really want or need or a policy you couldn't use. Your policy may also be considered to be mis-sold if you were pressured into taking it out or it was added without your knowledge.

Bank Charges

Before finding out more about bank charges no win no fee it is helpful to find out what charges you may be entitled to reclaim. In 2006, the Office of Fair Trading investigated the charges applied to credit cards for late payment and over the limit fees. In some cases these fees were found to be as high as £35. The Office of Fair Trading concluded that in many cases the charges were too high. They suggested that a maximum charge of £12 should be applied in these cases. As a consequence of the investigation most lenders lowered their charges to the recommended level.
