PPI on Loans

One of the worst financial scandals to ever hit the UK has been perpetrated by not one, but most, UK lenders and that is what makes it so devastating. In fact, PPI on loans has been mis sold to such an extent it may take years to sort it all out. The idea behind payment protection insurance is actually great in that it was intended to provide cover so that in the event that the policyholder lost employment or became too ill to work, payments would be made by the PPI on loans policy.

What Is So Wrong with PPI on Loans?

Of course we all know by now that PPI on loans can be extremely expensive. In fact, this is one of the worst aspects of the cover. Most policies also have a high number of exclusions. You won't be covered if you are out of work due to a back injury and you won't be covered if you suffer from stress or depression.

Righting a Wrong

The fortunate thing about all the controversy surrounding PPI on loans is that now the government has taken notice and is working to right a wrong that was allowed to go on for so very long. More than a decade of mis selling PPI on loans was almost more than the average consumer could handle but now, because of legislation, more and more consumers are able to claim back bank charges. This goes a long way to right a wrong, especially when it is possible to take back money that was virtually stolen from us with the mis sale of PPI on loans.

Whether you choose to file on your own or use the services of a professional PPI claims company, the important thing is that you will be reclaiming PPI and perhaps be compensated as well. Just be aware of the fact that many lenders are denying claims, sending them into appeals or simply sitting on them for inordinately long periods of time. Because of this, professional claims management companies are able to assist you when filing a claim as they have the manpower to stay on top of lenders to spur them to action. If you have been mis sold PPI on loans, now is the time to take it back! Call 0207 471 2000 for details on how to get back what is rightfully yours.
